The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation is blessed to have the support of the surrounding communities. You will find a wide variety of fundraisers to participate in all with the goal of helping raise money to provide hope, help and healing to the people undergoing treatment at the Bismarck Cancer Center. From race cars, to horseback riding, from Applefest to Masks in the Moonlight, from hunting to bowling and more, there is something for everyone.

Healing Art Workshops

The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation is pleased to announce a monthly expressive arts workshop located at ART Gallerie on Main in Bismarck, ND. Gallery owner Lydia Richez-Bowman is an artist and cancer survivor, and she leads these healing workshops to help participants create a personal 'masterpiece' to take home!

  • What: Free art workshops for current and former BCC patients, their families and caregivers.
  • When: First Thursday of the Month from 6-8 p.m. and the First Saturday of the Month from 2-4 p.m.(Select the day that works best for you; the classes are the same.)
  • Where: ART Gallerie on Main - 402 E. Main Ave., Bismarck

Yoga for Healing

Yoga for Healing is six free yoga classes designed to limit stress, reduce fatigue, and promote healing for cancer patients, pre, post or during treatment. Everyone is welcome and bring a friend. 

Classes will take place on the following days from 4 -5 p.m. in the conference room at the Bismarck Cancer Center, 500 N 8th Street, Bismarck. Please check in at the front desk upon arrival. The Cancer Center has mats and blocks available, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.

Project HOPE

  • October 22-26, 2018 - Project HOPE in Wilton, Washburn, Turtle Lake, Garrison, Center, Beulah, Hazen & Watford City

Join area businesses in supporting project HOPE, an exciting week-long community event building awareness and providing wellness tips to employees about four of the most prevalent cancers in North Dakota.  This community wellness event is designed to educate employees about healthy lifestyles, cancer prevention and early detection and to promote hope for a healthier tomorrow.

Participating businesses are asked to allow their employees to dress casually and/or wear the cancer ribbon colors on the designated day in support of cancer awareness.  Featured cancers for 2018 Project HOPE week include: Skin Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal Cancer and Head/Neck Cancer. The last day of project HOPE week we celebrate Survivors!

To participate in project HOPE, each employee is typically asked to make a donation of $10 to the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation, but this in not a requirement to participate. In return for their donation and participation, Bismarck Cancer Center provides each business with posters, awareness newsletters, stickers, wellness information and more.

All proceeds from project HOPE support the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. Donations are used to support cancer patients with financial, transportation, lodging, emotional care, and additional needs.

BCC Night at the Larks

Join the Bismarck Cancer Center for a night of baseball cheering on our hometown team, the Larks on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Tickets are $12 or $20 (this includes all you can eat dinner buffet) and they include a Larks hat, reserved seat, and $4 of every ticket sold will be donated directly to the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. 

The evening will include a 50:50 raffle, special promotions for BCC fans, and much more!

Survivorship Picnic

Mandan 4th of July Road Race

The Mandan Rodeo Days 4th of July Road Race is once again excited to announce a partnership with the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation! In 2017, over 500 people walked, jogged and ran to raise over $6,000 for those battling cancer in our region.

Blue Grass Goes Pink

Blue Grass Goes Pink

Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Cross Ranch State Park – Near Washburn

Start the day off with a 5K Walk/Run Trail Race at 9 a.m, registration is at 8:00 at the visitor center at the park– Cost is $20 (Includes t-shirt) Runners/walkers pay an additional $5 to attend the concert that evening. Supper will be at 5:00 pm with the Washburn churches and this is a free-will offering. Concert with Cotton Wood and friends is set up for 7:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair and a bug spray and wear your PINK. To pre-register call 701-315-0017. 

Concert tickets - $10 adults, ages 16 and under are FREE
Concert starts at 7 p.m.
Free will supper begins at 5 p.m.

Nutrition 101 for Survivors

Are you curious about what you can do as a survivor to have an impact on the quality of your life? Come listen to Amanda Ihmels, our Oncology Dietition, ive an overview on healthy eating for surivorship.  Class participants will learn nutrition guidleines for survivorship, how to read a food label and learn about resources to help support their health goals.

Saddle Up for Cancer
